HUMAN-CENTERED INTELLIGENCE

Elah prepares. You interpret.

Elah is a practitioner-assistive system designed to strengthen preparation, continuity and awareness while keeping professional judgment with the practitioner.

01 Practitioner control

AI can organize and interpret available information, but the practitioner decides what is relevant and how to proceed.

02 Human review

AI-generated summaries, analysis, scripts and other outputs should be reviewed before being used in practitioner work.

03 Privacy-conscious design

Elah is designed to reduce unnecessary client identity exposure while preserving useful practitioner context.

04 Assistive, not autonomous

Elah does not independently diagnose, determine suitability or make professional decisions on behalf of the practitioner.

PRACTITIONER OVERSIGHT

AI can surface information. Meaning remains human.

Elah can help practitioners organize intake, review progress, connect case information, create drafts and identify patterns that may deserve attention.

Those outputs are assistive. They do not replace practitioner expertise, professional responsibility or independent judgment.

Practitioners remain responsible for client interactions, interpretation of information, ethical practice, professional conduct and working within their own training and scope.

AI OUTPUTS

Intelligence is useful. It is not infallible.

AI systems can produce inaccurate, incomplete, inappropriate or misleading output.

Elah-generated summaries, analyses, scripts, suggestions, observations and other materials should be reviewed critically before they are relied upon.

Practitioners should use AI-generated information as context to consider, not as an unquestioned source of truth.

SCOPE

Built to support practitioners. Not replace professional care.

NOT A DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM Elah does not diagnose clients.

AI-generated analysis is intended to help practitioners organize and consider case information, not provide a medical or psychological diagnosis.

NOT AUTONOMOUS CARE Elah does not replace the practitioner.

Elah does not independently conduct treatment, therapeutic decision-making or autonomous psychological intervention.

NOT EMERGENCY SUPPORT Elah is not a crisis service.

The platform is not designed to provide emergency mental health services, crisis intervention or urgent medical assistance.

PRIVACY BY DESIGN

Useful context. Less identity exposure.

Elah is designed around case context rather than traditional client contact profiles.

The case workflow does not require storing client email addresses, phone numbers or last names. Cases are organized around secure case references with limited identity information used where needed for practitioner context.

Audio used during conversational AI Intake is processed during the experience but is not retained as a stored client recording.

Client information is not used to train Elah's underlying AI models.

CASE WORKFLOW Secure case references
CLIENT AUDIO Not retained as a recording
AI TRAINING Client data not used
CONNECTED SERVICES Provider remains system of record

TRANSPARENCY & IMPROVEMENT

Responsible AI is ongoing work.

Artificial intelligence continues to evolve. Responsible implementation requires continued evaluation rather than a one-time policy.

Elah continues to refine safety measures, practitioner controls, transparency and platform behavior as the technology and practitioner environment develop.

Practitioner feedback plays an important role in that process.

THE HUMAN REMAINS IN CONTROL

Elah can help you see more. You decide what it means.

Practitioners remain responsible for their professional services, client interactions and decisions. AI-generated output is assistive and Elah does not guarantee client outcomes or results.
