Acceptable Use Policy.

1. Purpose of Elah

Elah is a practitioner support and transformation intelligence system designed primarily for hypnotherapists, NLP practitioners, coaches and other transformational mind-body practitioners.

Elah provides tools for practitioner preparation, client intake and assessment, case continuity, progress tracking, practitioner notes, session preparation, content creation and practitioner-facing case intelligence.

Elah is not designed as an electronic medical record system or clinical records platform for regulated medical or behavioral-health practices.

2. Practitioner Responsibility

You are responsible for how you use the Service, the information you enter, your communications with clients, and the professional decisions you make.

Elah provides assistive tools only. Practitioners remain responsible for:

• working within their education, training and professional scope;
• obtaining appropriate client consent where required;
• reviewing AI-generated outputs before using them;
• protecting client confidentiality;
• determining whether a client or case is appropriate for their services;
• complying with applicable professional, ethical and legal requirements.

3. Client Data and Identity

Elah is designed to minimize unnecessary client identity exposure. Client cases are organized around secure case references rather than traditional contact profiles.

Unless a specific Elah feature is expressly designed to collect particular information, you should not enter unnecessary direct identifiers into client case, journal, assessment, session or intake fields.

In particular, practitioners should avoid entering:

• client last names;
• personal email addresses;
• telephone numbers;
• home or physical addresses;
• government identification numbers;
• financial account or payment-card information;
• copies of formal medical or psychological records.

First names or initials and Elah case references may be used where supported by the platform.

4. Prohibited Uses

Clinical and emergency use

You may not use Elah as an autonomous system for:

• medical or psychological diagnosis;
• psychiatric treatment;
• emergency mental health services;
• crisis intervention;
• autonomous high-risk psychological intervention;
• decisions that legally require a licensed medical or clinical professional.

Harmful or unlawful activity

You may not use Elah to:

• engage in illegal activity;
• harass, threaten, exploit or abuse another person;
• intentionally manipulate or coerce a client in a harmful manner;
• impersonate a licensed professional or misrepresent credentials;
• make deceptive claims about guaranteed therapeutic or client outcomes;
• upload or distribute unlawful, malicious or intentionally harmful content.

5. AI-Assisted Features

Elah uses artificial intelligence to assist with intake, organization, analysis, content creation, pattern recognition and practitioner workflows.

AI-generated information may be inaccurate, incomplete, inappropriate or misleading. You agree that:

• AI outputs are assistive rather than authoritative;
• outputs should be reviewed before practitioner use;
• Elah should not be relied upon for diagnosis or emergency decisions;
• you remain responsible for how AI-generated information is interpreted and applied.

6. Community and Practitioner Communication

When using Community Hub, practitioner announcements, opportunities, referrals or other communication features, you are responsible for your own communications and interactions.

You may not use community features for harassment, fraudulent solicitation, spam, unlawful conduct or deceptive representation.

Elah does not supervise or guarantee relationships, referrals, collaborations or arrangements made between independent practitioners.

7. Fair Use and System Integrity

You may not:

• attempt to access accounts, systems or information you are not authorized to access;
• bypass authentication, permissions, usage limits or security controls;
• reverse engineer, copy or extract protected platform technology;
• use bots, scripts or automated processes to exploit or overload the platform;
• interfere with the operation, availability or security of Elah;
• probe or test system vulnerabilities without written authorization;
• share account credentials in a way that bypasses licensed seat requirements.

Elah may restrict activity that materially affects platform availability, security or other users.

8. Enforcement

Elah may investigate suspected violations and may take reasonable action including:

• requesting corrective action;
• limiting particular features;
• temporarily suspending access;
• permanently terminating an account;
• preserving or disclosing information where legally required.

Serious violations involving security, unlawful conduct or risk to others may result in immediate suspension or termination.

9. Responsibility for Misuse

Elah is not responsible for practitioner misuse of the platform, practitioner decisions, independent professional services or client outcomes.

Use of the Service remains subject to the limitations and disclaimers contained in the Elah Terms & Conditions.

10. Changes to This Policy

Elah may update this Policy as the platform, technology or legal environment changes. The current version will be published on Elah.io with an updated revision date.
